TEXAS RESEARCH FOUNDATION
RENNER, TEXAS

Mr. Paul Allen
Escuela Agricola Panamericana
Tegucigalpa, Honduras
Dear Paul:
We are trying to build up a greater research center for
the Southwest and adjacent Latin America. We, of course, need
all the library and herbarium facilities that we can obtain.
We are especially interested in building up our plant collections
not only from the U.S. Southwest but also especially from
Mexico and Central America.
I am wondering if you have duplicate specimens available
which we might be able to obtain? If so, we should certainly
like to make some arrangements satisfactory to you for us to
acquire them. Any specimens that you might now have on hand
or expect to collect in the future would be a most welcome
addition to our herbarium. I should appreciate your advice
regarding the above.
We hope that you and Dorothy are enjoying your work at
the School. The last time I saw Louis and Rua in Beltsville
they were both in good health and appeared to be very happy.
The Hodges, as you doubtless know, are riding on top of the
world at Longwood.
With best wishes from all the Corrells,
Sincerely yours,
Donovan S. Correll, Head
Botanical Laboratory
