MEDICINAL PLANTS
1. Pinus monophylla (S) (wahpee)
Juniperus utahensis (S) Sahn-ah-poh
Kidney medicine: Pine nut pitch and juniper leaves boiled, solution taken in doses of 1/2 glass at a time for a period of a week at a time.
2. Aquilegia formosa
(S) Pah-wah-gumb
Root boiled, solution taken for stomachache and diarrhea.
3. Odostemon repens
(S) So-go-diem
Root boiled, taken internally as a remedy for rheumatic pains and backache.
4. Sambucus melanocarpa
(S) Hoh-tiem
Root is boiled. Taken in small doses of 1/2 cup or less at a time over a short period as a regulator for the blood or
